A beautifully crafted 1980s rocking chair made by Cecil Colyer, in the style of Makepeace. Cecil was a co-founder of the Dorset Craft Guild. The chair is made from yew and ash, creating a striking frame with a clean, sculptural silhouette.
The woven cane seat is in good condition, complementing the natural warmth and character of the timber. The maker’s initials “CWC” are carved on the underside.
