Hans Olsen “Roundette” dining set for Frem Røjle, designed in 1952. This elegant teak set comprises a circular dining table and four matching chairs.
A cleverly designed, compact dining set, the chair backs are shaped to sit flush within the table’s apron, allowing the chairs to tuck neatly underneath and “disappear” when not in use. Each chair features a distinctive three-legged design and retains its original black leatherette upholstery.
Condition is generally good, with a few points to note: one chair has had a repair (please see photographs), and the table top shows a couple of small raised areas, most visible in certain light. There is also a small split to the veneer on the table skirt. All imperfections are shown in the images, and the price reflects these minor issues.
The chairs are solid, stable, and perfectly usable.
