Liberty of London Three-Legged ‘Thebes’ Stool
Inspired by the ancient Egyptian stool discovered at Thebes, this Liberty & Co. stool was produced circa 1900–1920 during London’s Egypt-mania. Elegantly three-legged and finely carved with zodiac motifs around the seat, it’s a beautiful example of the iconic Thebes design. One leg has a very good old repair, please see pictures.
