1930's Bent Plywood Chair

A 1930's bent plywood chair.
I was told it came out of a theatre built in the 1930s in Wales, he was under the impression it was one of the original chairs from there. I'd say the style of the chair supports that.
It's similar to some of the early bentwood ply pieces that Thonet produced in the early 20th Century. I am yet to accredit a designer or maker to it. I have some Josef Hoffman chairs though that use the same metal fitting used on these to support the legs.
I bought the chair as I loved the original patina and sharp design.
The chair is solid and usable.
