A very charming and primitive chair we believe to be Swiss 19th century.
Not too sure on the wood possibly Ash? It has aged beautifully though and has a lovely tone.
We can see an old repair to the leg.
Definitely more of an occasional chair, it's solid and usable but not something you'd want to be letting the kids lean back on.
