Large Continental Oak Dressing Chest, Mid 20th Century
Large vintage Continental oak dressing chest dating from the mid 20th century. Made from solid oak, it has two rectangular mirrors with twisted wrought iron side supports.
The chest has two small drawers over two larger drawers, all with chunky carved wooden handles. The lower drawers feature hand-carved openwork rosette details, a design often seen on Continental country and Alpine furniture.
it's a well-built piece with plenty of character and would work equally well as a dressing chest or statement storage piece.
