Oil on Canvas by Edward D'Arcy Lister (1911–1976)
An original oil on canvas by British painter and printmaker Edward D'Arcy Lister. Born in Horsforth, Yorkshire, Lister studied at Leeds College of Art (1928–33) and later at the Royal College of Art under Gilbert Spencer. He went on to lecture at Bournemouth and Poole College of Art.
Lister's work is held in public collections, including Southampton City Art Gallery. This piece reflects his refined technique and contribution to mid-20th-century British art.
