A pair of Alvar Aalto model 44 ‘Padded Paimio’ chairs produced by Artek.
These chairs date from the 1990s and are in very good condition.
Birch frame, upholstered in Otti Berger designed zebra striped fabric.
Designed in 1933. The model was presented at the ‘Wood Only’ exhibition at fortnum and mason department store in London, November 1933.
