A pair of German Art Nouveau hammered metal vases by WMF (Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik), dating from around 1910. Finished in silver plate with removable glass liners, each vase is stamped with the WMF maker's mark to the base.
The hammered finish and simple, elegant shape are typical of the period, giving the pair a timeless quality that works just as well in modern interiors as it does in more traditional settings.
Both vases are in good antique condition with a naturally aged patina and light wear commensurate with age. One small chip in the glass liner. Please refer to the photographs, as they form part of the description.
