Pair of Josef Hoffmann Model 728 “Fledermaus” Armchairs (c. 1905)
Pair of Model 728 “Fledermaus” armchairs designed by Josef Hoffmann for J&J Kohn, circa 1905. Originally designed for Vienna’s Cabaret Fledermaus, they feature Hoffmann’s distinctive geometric side loops and reeded turnings in stained wood.
The chairs retain remnants of their original paper labels and manufacturer's stamps to the underside.
