No. B9 “Le Corbusier” Chairs — Pair
Painted pair of B9 bentwood chairs, made by Radomsko, Poland in the 1960s. Designed by August Thonet (1829–1910), the B9 was widely used by Le Corbusier, who admired its simple, curved form.
Beech frames with handwoven cane seats. The original paint is worn and flaking, giving the chairs a great aged character.
One chair has a small 1–2 mm split to the bentwood arm, which does not affect stability or use.
